Need equipment for your sports club? Want to run a community event? Our Community Grants Program provides funding to local community based non-for-profit clubs and groups

Council’s Annual Community Grants Program is a strategic tool for capacity building, supporting innovation and addressing community need in line with the Council and Community’s vision.

Funding is available to assist community groups in establishing and or continuing a service or activity seen as a need for the betterment of and improvement to the enjoyment of life within the community.

We are now accepting applications for the 2023-24 Community & Business Grants Programs.

What’s available?

1. Community Grants – Small Grants up to $2500 for non-for-profit incorporated groups operating within the Shire of Quairading.

2. Business Grants – up to $5000 for businesses operating within the Quairading Shire.

Applications are due by 4pm, 30th of November 2023.

Non-for-profit community groups can also apply to have fees waived when hiring Shire venues and equipment. Please email chloe.nella@quairading.wa.gov.au to request this with the following information:

  1. Club Name
  2. Request for Hire
  3. Time/Date
  4. Amount Requesting (Current Fees & Charges can be found here)
  5. Additional event/project information
