Proposed Local Laws 2017

 

The Shire of Quairading proposes to make the following new Local Laws:

  1. Shire of Quairading Dogs Local Law 2017

The purpose of this local law is to make provisions about the impounding of dogs, to control the number of dogs that can be kept on premises and the manner of keeping those dogs.

The effect of this local law is to extend the control over dogs which exist under the dog Act 1976.

  1. Shire of Quairading Animals, Environment and Nuisance Local Law 2017

The purpose of this local law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of animals and the prevention of environmental damage and nuisances within the District.

The effect of this local law is to establish the requirements with which any person keeping animals, or undertaking activities that have the potential to impact the environment or create nuisance must comply.

Copies of the each proposed local law may be obtained from the Shire’s website: www.quairading.wa.gov.au, or inspected at the Administration Centre, 10 Jennaberring Road, Quairading, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
