Congratulations to the Quairading Medical Practice’s Employee, Debra Stacey on being awarded the 2017 Rural General Practice Manager of the Year!

Debra was presented with the Award in Quairading on Thursday the 6th May 2017 in front of her Colleagues, Family, Friends and Shire representatives. Debra has demonstrated effective leadership, management skills and dedication to the Practice; ensuring all Practice Staff are educated on various Practice processes. Her attitude towards patient safety is outstanding, helping to keep local residents as healthy as possible through her work with the small Wheatbelt Community. Her genuine kindness, competency as a manager, and respect for her staff and patients is truly deserving of recognition.

Debra started at the Medical Practice on the 1st September 2008 as a Surgery Receptionist and then Council in 2012 decided to have a Dedicated Part Time Position of Practice Manager, and Debra took up this Position.

Debra was nominated by the Surgery Doctors, her work Colleagues and a Community Member for this Award.

A popular, efficient and caring local Medical Centre is vitally important for our Community’s wellbeing and also vital for the future sustainability of a General Practice in Quairading.

Well done Debra on your Rural General Practice Manager of the Year Award.
