Terms & Conditions of entry

1. Instructions on how to enter and prize information forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in any competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The competition is run by the Shire of Quairading (ABN: 24 187 484 077)
3. The competition is open to all WA Wheatbelt Residents.
4. Staff of the Shire of Quairading and their relatives are eligible to enter.
5. To enter, your sculpture must be delivered to the Shire of Quairading Administration Centre (10 Jennaberring Rd, Quairading) before 5pm, Monday 1st of August 2022.
6. The competition opens at 12.00 am on Friday 26th May 2022 and closes at 5.00 pm on Monday 1st August 2022.
7. Entries received may be exhibited in an online gallery on the Shire of Quairading Facebook Page and Instagram page with credits to the artists.
8. There is no minimum or maximum size.
9. There is no theme and sculptures can be any material.
10. The winner agrees that their artwork may remain on display indefinitely, and will become property of the Shire of Quairading..
11. The winner will receive $500.
12. The winner will be contacted via email or phone by Friday 5th August 2022.
13. The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All works will be judged anonymously and there will be no segregation by artist, genre or style etc.
14. If the prize winner fails to make contact with the Shire of Quairading to claim their prize within 72 hours, then they forfeit their claim and the Shire of Quairading reserves the right to award another winner.
15. The return of sculptures after judging is the responsibility of the artists.
16. Entrants are responsible for any and all expenses that they incur in entering the competition.
17. The Shire of Quairading reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and if we do so, we will publish the amended version on our website prior to the close of the competition.
