The Shire of Quairading is seeking applications for an experienced Head Gardener. This position is based in Quairading and offers a unique opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced person to lead a dedicated Parks and Gardens Team in the day-to-day operations, and more importantly have a hands on approach in the maintenance and development of the Shire’s ovals, parks and gardens, aimed at providing a high standard of public amenity for the residents of Quairading.

It is expected that the successful applicant will have a demonstrated tracked record of success in a similar role, preferably in Local Government. Well-developed leadership skills are critical requirements and the role requires a person who is suitably qualified and self-driven, with the ability to work in a team situation.

PLANT OPERATOR –GENERAL HAND x 2

Are you looking for a busy hands-on role in a hardworking Council Team? We are looking for two (2) experienced Plant Operator - General Hands to join our Works & Services Team.

The successful applicants will work with a team that is engaged in a variety of tasks involving the construction and maintenance of Council’s roads and other assets.  The applicants should have sound skills and experience in operating trucks, loaders, rollers, tractors, Maintenance Grading and operating a variety of other minor plant.

The position of Plant Operator - General Hand is required to hold a HR drivers licence.

HEAD CLEANER

We are looking for an energetic, reliable and diligent individual to join our Corporate Services Team as a permanent Part-time Head Cleaner.

The Role is responsible for coordinating the Cleaning Team, routine cleaning and maintenance reporting on all Shire Buildings and Facilities.
