The team members live and work in the regions so they understand the local needs and concerns of clients. This is a part of the State Government’s Business Local service.

The Australian Government Business website offers simple and convenient access to a range of government information, forms and services for the Australian business community. It’s a whole-of government service providing information on planning, starting and growing a business and covers:

– Grants and Assistance
– Advice and Support.

Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC)

The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) offers support specifically to small businesses across Western Australia. The SBDC website is managed by the Western Australian Government and offers simple and convenient access to a range of information on:

  • Starting, managing and growing a business in Western Australia
  • Vital business topics including planning and business structures, marketing, financial management, employing people, exporting and importing and more
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution.

The Small Business Development Corporation website also covers information on the various licences and registrations that businesses need to operate in Western Australia.

Rural Financial Counselling Service of WA

Doing it tough in rural WA? If you are a farmer, forester, professional fisher or you run a small business supporting these industries, and you’re having a hard time of it financially, they’re ready to give you a hand.

This website also includes valuable information for retailers and others who are suppliers to these industries, for lenders, for community groups, for local governments and for those working in health and welfare.
