The Shire of Quairading was proud to host the 2026 Australia Day Celebration at the Town Hall, bringing the community together to reflect, connect and celebrate all that makes our town special.
A highlight of the day was the Australian Citizenship Ceremony, where Arminda and Natalisia were officially welcomed as new Australian citizens, marking a meaningful milestone for them and our community.
After a delicious lunch by WA Spit Roast, the celebration continued with the Citizen of the Year Awards, recognising outstanding service and commitment to Quairading. The 2026 nominees were George Jason, Pam Caporn, Carol Dall and Trevor Bond.
Carol Dall was announced as the 2026 Citizen of the Year for her long-standing dedication and tireless volunteer service across sporting, community and emergency organisations. Congratulations Carol!
