PUBLIC HEALTH PLAN 2026-2028
The Shire of Quairading is committed to supporting a healthy, safe and connected community. Our Public Health Plan provides a framework for identifying and addressing local health and wellbeing priorities, helping to create an environment where all residents can thrive.
Under the Western Australian Public Health Act 2016, all local governments are required to prepare and publish a Local Public Health Plan for their district. The Plan must be consistent with the State Public Health Plan while responding to the unique needs, opportunities and challenges of the local community. Local governments were required to prepare and publish their first Local Public Health Plans by 4 June 2026.
The Shire of Quairading’s Public Health Plan has been developed using local data, community feedback and evidence-based planning principles. It identifies key health priorities for our community and outlines the actions the Shire and its partners will take to promote, improve and protect public health over the life of the Plan.
